How To Build On-line Business

I would like to share here my experience in building successful Internet business. First I should probably share how I started to be interested in on-line business and how things did not work for me. As statistics say – 95% of all Internet entrepreneurs or let us say people who decided to to go for Internet entrepreneurs path, never make it, become frustrated and tell everybody about being scammed and tricked into different not working schemes and systems. So why the statistics are so pathetic? Probably, because unlike other business models Internet has such low entry barrier that almost anybody with Internet connection and credit card in hand can start the business on the Internet. And that is really the beauty of information market, where very good money are made with no production and with very low and sometimes even no overhead costs.

For me with my previous experience with pure business to business technology area where things like the state of local economy, the logistics, the specifics of local market compared to global trends in the industry always had huge impact on the business, Internet immediately seemed to be the Holy Grail of business opportunity… yes, opportunity, and that is probably the biggest challenge in online entrepreneurship. There are numerous opportunities to make money on-line and there are thousands or even hundreds of thousands people who would like to pursue those opportunities. I was no different little more than one year ago, and I ran right into high ticket network marketing opportunity to make big bucks very quickly. It did not take long for me to understand how hard it was to make not big money but any money at all. The advertising was expensive and ineffective, the leads were not converting and the money were flowing out of my pocket. And by the time I learned how to advertise my business I had no money to further invest into advertisement. Probably, regular story of Internet opportunist. Luckily I did not give up and continued to learn different marketing strategies and tactics, but on the other hand my learning was not paying me off my investments. And on-line business started to work for me only when I thoroughly analyzed my own strengths and weaknesses and understood what it was I would really like to do.

Only after I understood that helping other people with their marketing efforts would be something I am really passionate about, I started to make money on-line. And among all the different courses I took about PPC, SEO, Social Media the the only courses which had immediate impact on my bottom line were materials about overall business strategy and also practical recommendations on how to leverage other people’s efforts for my profits.

I was able to make my business work for me only when I started to do something I like to do and also when I started to give out things I am not good at to other people to do. So, now it is very clear for me that to build on-line business one has to identify the business first and then decide how to get some external help to achieve the goals of that designed business. Yes, you need to learn how to outsource, but most important is that you start to outsource as early as possible. And the good news is that even if you never had any employees today there are resources to help you master that skill in three months or less.
